Every struggle you face is a test and a opportunity to gain nearness to Allah swt. When you are faced with the option of sinning, it will take a conscious effort to chose the path and action that is pleasing to Allah swt. Even in our every day actions we have a Sunnah way to live, meaning we can chose to do things in the way we want, or we can do it according to the Sunnah. This choice we make in even the most mundane matters to act according to Sunnah, is because that way is more beautiful to Allah swt and in doing something beautiful to Allah we gain His nearness and therefore achieve our goal in this life. Similary when you are presented with the option of sinning or leaving an obligatory act of worship, try to remember your ultimate goal in this life and that this is a decisive moment where you can achieve true success. Don’t despair in your struggle. Allah swt loves his servant who struggles in His path, even if he continues to fall short. In hadith we are told to “Strive for complete uprightness, but you will fall short.” We are told remain steadfast and committed to excellence, perfection, and to do the best that you can. I hope that helps inshallah. May Allah swt help you and guide you and all the Muslims.

I dont have pious company beyond the people in mosque, none of which are my friends / regular company. I don’t attend the company of anyone involved in sin. I attend the gathering of an alim almost every week, but I’m not very close to him to disclose my problem.
